The question that lead me to design my experiences is ¿why do travelers who visits Bogotá, think about Monserrate, Candelaria and Paloquemao as the local life, when my daily life are the neighborhoods and their hidden places that me and my friends visits in our free time?. I realized that the power of the cities go beyond their iconic and emblematic places while discovering and enjoying these type of places. I would like to quote a Colombian journalist to describe Chapinero: ¨Bogotá was New York. ‘Chapi’ Soho, Little Italy, Sleazy Manhattan. Chapi was (is, still) freedom. No one asked where you came from, or why you were leaving; That's why we all get here. Everything is more ‘beautiful’, and organic and lactose-free, and with designation of origin and gluten-free, but with wi-fi. This is my neighborhood¨ --- Francisco J. Escobar S. --- In this experience we will walk through Chapinero, while we visit 6 hidden places, each one with a different concept and where you will have the opportunity to have a tasting of their products and also to talk with the owners of these sites.
