INDIGO Nature Retreat nestled in the Pisgah National Forest & located on the flowing waters of Newberry Creek. Shinrin-Yoku walks will take place either just outside INDIGO's grounds in the Pisgah National Forest or at nearby Catawba Falls and Mt. Mitchell. Shinrin-Yoku participants need to bring good hiking shoes and proper hiking attire (hiking shoes, layered clothing, & outerwear).
The weather in the mountains can be unpredictable so be sure to prepare by bringing an extra set of clothes if a rain shower catches us. Wear layers of clothing, hydrate & bring healthy snacks.
