体验内容
In this beginner Silversmithing class, we'll pick out our own stone and create the setting and shank. We'll get familiar with the torch, jeweler's saw, flex shaft drill and anvil.
We'll solder the bezel, cut out the setting and file it flat. We'll then create your ring shank according to your own size and add them together.
We'll finish your ring by setting the stone and polishing the piece. All finished work is sterling silver and you get to go home with a brand new ring.
Patience is required. No experience necessary.
Other things to note
Please dress for the occasion! We'll be sawing metal and using messy materials. Don't wear anything dangly and please have closed toe shoes on. This activity is hands on and I repeat, messy!

This experience is held at my live/work studio in Springfield, TN. We will be surrounded with plants and art in a woman run- creative environment. Springfield's slogan is "minutes from Nashville, miles from ordinary." & it truly has some Tennessee barn charm. You might dig around some antique shops around here to find it. While you're in Springfield you might also check out Born and Raised Market, Grain and Honey Bakery or Becks Farmhouse Coffee.

- Y’all, just do it! Our workshop with Leah was such a unique and rich learning experience, more than we ever could’ve hoped for. Leah and her sweet pupperino were just a hoot and a holler to hang with and Leah was sooooo incredibly patient and kind. Even though we were absolute newbies, Leah made us feel confident and empowered to try new things. Our rings are gorgeous and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. She’s full of so many neat stories and adventures and is just a joy to chillax with.
