For your experience, we will meet at the entrance of Mismaloya Beach, seven-miles south of Puerto Vallarta.
First we will introduce you to the water with an introductory safety lesson on your preferred equipment. Then we'll hop on our boards and/or kayaks and paddle about 20-30 minutes from Mismaloya Beach to Los Arcos Marine Park.
Imagine gazing over the Pacific ocean as golden light reflects back onto the rocky cliff faces of Los Arcos National Marine Park. Thousands of endemic birds who have nested there suddenly take flight and circle high into the sky above you. We share information and stories of this magical place you are visiting, as well as fresh water and an energy bar for nourishment. Before dawn or after sunset, you'll look down from the star filled sky to see that the waters have come alive—you’ve been gifted a chance to observe bioluminescent waters around the sea caves and grottos of Los Arcos. Once we've wrapped up our time at the park, we'll make our way back to shore.
This Bioluminescent eco-experience is a once-in-a-lifetime experience not to be missed.

Hola amigos! My name is Alberto and I am the owner of Paddle Zone—a family-owned and locally-operated adventure company and stand up paddle boarding (SUP) school created to share the intrinsic treasures of the Banderas Bay region by way of ecologically-friendly sports and recreation services.
At Paddle Zone, we are known for crafting a truly exceptional and unique tour experience grounded in a sense of safety, a deep respect for the planet, and a whole lot of fun.
The Paddle Zone team is made up of myself, Alberto, my wife, Rachael, and our professional tour guides, Felipe, Jacob, and Gio. Your tour will be led by one of our guides.
It's an honor to share this paradise that we love with you all with the hopes of conserving this bay for future generations.

Where the Sierra Madre mountain range meets the beautiful blue waters of the Pacific Ocean, Mismaloya is a small fishing village found seven miles south of Puerto Vallarta—a beach town boasting spectacular views of the natural wonders of Los Arcos Marine Park.
We'll start and end the experience at Mismaloya Beach. And during the trip, we will visit and explore the islets of Los Arcos by paddle board or by kayak.

- Felipe and Kevin were amazing guides! They were funny and knowledgeable and I genuinely feel like we left the experience with good new friends. As for the tour itself, it was incredible! I can honestly say I’ll remember it for a long time! A word of advice, if you’re able to look at the moons and choose a night with a new or crescent moon, it would make for easier visibility of the bioluminescence itself. But even with a bright moon, we were able to see some incredible things. I will never forget it! Highly highly recommend this experience!
- I've done a lot of traveling over the years and I can say with certainty that this was one of the most incredible things I've experienced. Right from the start, Felipe and Kevin put me at ease with their warm, friendly personalities and knowledge about the park and paddling. As the evening progressed, I felt more like I was hanging out with friends, as they shared their personal stories and experiences on the water. I opted to take a kayak, considering the choppy conditions, and it was easier than I thought it would be. Not only was the scenery and tour of Los Arcos amazing, but the sunset was made even better by the sight of whales breaching in the distance. As the sun went down, we began to see nature's spectacular show of bioluminescent plankton; the whole universe of stars seemed to twinkle from beneath the surface of the water. Even the waves lit up as they crashed into the seawall. We had the opportunity to paddle through the caves of the islands and watch as the sealife below us illuminated in a way that can only be explained as magical. So, so cool. Water and a snack was provided for an extra boost of energy as we returned to the shore. As it was just me, the guys were nice enough to give me a ride back downtown. Didn't want the night to end and hope to go back someday. If you're thinking about doing this experience, don't hesitate to reserve your spot. You won't regret it!
- The most incredible tour in Puerto Vallarta! Our guide, Felipe, was super knowledgeable about the area, the marine life, and the ocean. His enthusiasm is contagious and he will make your tour unforgettable. The bioluminescence was a magical experience - a bucket list for sure. And worth repeating, I'll be coming back to share with friends!
