A unique social impact experience to visit a village in Gurugram near New Delhi and spend time with rural women to learn the art of making amazing paper products. These products are upcycled ones made from waste newspaper. As part of the experience, you will get to interact with the rural women for a product demonstration, have home-made lunch with them and do creative activities together. You will also get the opportunity to buy their upcycled paper products like Christmas tree, stars, bells, light strings, Fridge magnets, door hangings, wind chimes, wall clock and many more at discounted prices.
Leaving a lucrative corporate career, I took the plunge to become my own boss. Being a travel bug, I thought of helping explorers weave amazing memories through travel experiences. I am Marketing & Travel Consultant at Action Center for Transformation, an NGO in Gurugram. I help the NGO with marketing and in creating positive social impact experiences through travel. I want travelers to see the beautiful paper products and experience the lives of the highly skilled women artisans.
