This activity happens weekly and in different venues such as hospitals, work places, rescue centres and at social hall with other local people. We will meet in town then head straight to our venue. We always start with warm up exercises before jumping into very energetic movement played live on African drum and guitar.
I am a music and dance therapist in Nairobi and an East African representative for Umoja Global Community Music Therapy a non-profit NGO based in the U.S. I have volunteered with different international organizations in introducing music therapy to East Africa and offering it to the vulnerable members of the society who are going through hard emotional times.
I will provide the guest(s) with water for we will really be dancing and I don't want you to dehydrate.
