We'll begin with a simple and brief ice-breaking discussion related to coffee. We'll look at some unique antiques related to coffee and I'll share interesting stories about this favorite drink, and talk about its origins and history. You'll learn more about "fair trade" and the role of "Beautiful Coffee" and its world-partnership countries. Then we'll have the special experience of brewing fair trade Beautiful Coffee and share in its feelings, aromas, and tastes. After we drink our coffee, we will send you out to the entrance of Changdeokgung Palace, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and only a three-minute walk away.
I am a host of the social impact experience at Beautiful Coffee, the fair trade coffee company that started in 2002 with the mission of "Changing trade to change the world" as a means of solving poverty. Now, with 10 producer partnership countries around the world, we handle coffee, chocolate, and nut products. Beautiful Coffee is working to follow fair trade principles to solve global poverty and trade inequality by creating opportunities for economically disadvantaged producers. I deeply understand fair trade and I want to share stories and aromatic coffee with you.
Beautiful Coffee dreams of a beautiful world through fair trade. We're committed to long-term partnerships, sustainable pricing and pay for producers, earning funds for local community development, and human rights for workers. We adopt production methods that protect the environment, give opportunities to marginalized producers, support humanitarian projects, and promote fair trade to consumers.
