A sightseeing tour with a difference, I will take you straight into the world of visual arts, with a pinch of sightseeing around one of the most beautiful cities in Malta, Valletta. You will be engaged in sketching the beautiful architecture of the city. First you will be given the mediums you need to work with, including paper, and drawing mediums, then you will be invited to walk around the city and asked to stop at one point and choose your drawing viewpoint. After the first sketches, you will be invited together with the other possible participants to present your work and discuss the different styles and mediums used. Once that is done, you will be invited again to walk around the capital of Malta, Valletta and choose another viewpoint, this time prior drawing the viewpoint, there will be a short discussion which later will develop into an imaginative drawing related to the architectural side of the city. The drawings later on will again be presented to the group and there will be the last discussion. You will be invited to keep the drawing and also join us for an optional drink at one of the local traditional bars surrounding the area.
I am graduated as an art teacher, and I have been teaching art for the past 10 years. I also founded a non-profit organisation for which I also run continuous artistic events such as Creatives Networking Evenings, Urban Sketching events, Karaoke Nights and Creative writing activities. In the past 12 years I have also been working with English language schools by organizing and planning excursions for students of all ages around Malta and Gozo.
