We will come into the Palace grounds from downstairs, entering this old cool beautiful and historic 17th century building. You will feel the cool quiet energy of the palace engulf you while as you completely leave the daylight chaos of the day outside. We will walk up the stairs, viewing the paintings on the walls and the decorated ceilings' carvings. We will walk through the different rooms of this floor, including the Palace kitchen, dining room and end up in the yoga space with a view of the church. We will take a set on our meditation cushions and the experience will begin with a shamata meditation, a Buddhist practice of breath meditation to come to the present moment. No matter who you are, you can direct your attention to your breath We will give ourselves time to settle into the new space and I will help you to direct your mind's attention to the details of this class for the following hour. We will begin to move the body, mindfully, with awareness and presence. We will also begin to stretch the body harnessing and sharpen our awareness of the body sensations that are arising as well as our mind monologue. We will use a combination of yoga postures, stretches and Qi kung to move in meditation. The class will end with a deep relaxation component.
Namaste, I am a wellness practitioner, enthusiast, coach and teacher. I have a Masters in Public Health and my yoga certification from India and experienced retreats and workshops all along this journey. Health and wellness are my passions. My purpose to share this with all my communities, and showing how to use your body, the breath and awareness to achieve peace of mind, mental wellbeing and balance in the stressful modern world we live in. My style of yoga is a mix, but it with conscious mindful movement to have the experience. I teach what I have experienced that has worked for me.
