During the tasting we will have a talk about brewing methods and ingredients, beer types and recipes. Since I am a brewer, I know most of the breweries of Hungary with their stories, and there are quite a few funny anecdotes believe me. I will also share the history of domestic and craft beer industry with you. This is the perfect time to ask, what you have been always curious about regarding to craft beers. While we talk, we also enjoy some traditional cheese, salami, sausage and veggies with fresh bread. We will meet in a famous multi-tap-bar with 24 taps, where we look at the daily menu and put together a tasting line of 5 beers according to my recommendations. If you are not so familiar with craft beers, we can do a horizontal tasting through basic beer types. If you are an expert we can try the latest crazinesses, and we can try the best IPAs of Hungary in case you are a Hophead.
I’ve been working as a professional brewer for five years and started my own brewing company, called Hübris in 2013. Last year I quit and since then I work as a consultant, giving advices for other craft breweries and startup companies. I am enthusiastic about brewing, beer tasting and the stories behind those unbelivable crafts.

I’ll meet you in the mecca of Hungarian craft beer, called Élesztő Pub (1094 Budapest, Tűzoltó utca 22.). It was the first multitap bar in Budapest, founded 5 years ago. I was there at the opening as a junior brewer, and since then this is one of my favourite bars to taste new beers. We have a lot of similar projects, like the first cask ale in Hungary.
