We will come and fetch you at a convenient location near to where you are staying and bring you to the access point to the trail. From there, we will equip you with bikes and set off along side the river to discover the hidden natural and historic secrets of the "Seine des impressionistes". It will also include the incredible engineering feat connected to Versailles. We will picnic along the way or when we reach the Chateau de Saint Germain en Laye, one of the oldest Chateaux in France, having been the home to many kings and british escapees at the time of Henri the VIIIth... the terrace of the chateau offers a breath taking view on the whole of Paris and surrounding areas. If on the right day of the week, we will pop around the local market and stock up on local produce for snacks.. Other hidden gems will be shared with our guests!
Bonjour, je m'appelle Joanne & Ludo! Having spent the better part of my childhood locally, I developed the sense of showing people round when the hundreds of visitors would come and stay to visit the local sites. I have since traveled and lived in various places around the globe but have returned to the village I grew up in. Biking was added to the discovery activity a while back and has become a way of life.Additionally, cycle paths have been created along side the Seine..
A picnic will be provided so please share any dietary requirements beforehand
