An introduction to some basic macrame knots. We will learn this knots by making a macramé piece and everyone will go away with their own piece and the knowledge to start creating your own knotty creations back at home.

The workshop will be in my home/studio located really close to the neighborhood of Poblenou.

Ikram is fantastic, the macrame workshop was something I had wanted to do for a long time, she made it simple to understand plus her relaxed demeanor made it a really nice friendly 3 hours spent.
she was wonderful about accomodating my 3 year old as I was travelling alone from London to Barcelona, Athena my daughter felt just at home with her as I did, playing with her little one's toys. Ikram's English is flawless well taught by her husband Joe who is a South London chap equally nice and also very creative. I would suggest this experience to everyone visiting Barcelona. Will definitely be visiting again Ikram!

Recomiendo conocer a Ikram y su arte, tanto por la paciencia y el cariño que infunde al transmitir sus enseñanzas, así como el original ambiente del espacio donde ofrece sus talleres. Entre su preciosa presencia, su preciado arte, su sincera amabilidad y el acompañamiento del té con su delicioso bizcocho recién horneado, he tenido una muy agradable experiencia humana, creativa y enriquecedora en todos los aspectos.

This was my first Airbnb experience and I am so glad to have participated in it. I had ikram all to myself which made for an intimate workshop. She is very warm, engaging and patient. She also happens to be a fantastic instructor. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations about life and travel while we worked on our macrame project. I look forward to practicing what I learned when I get home!

I did a number of experiences while on Barcelona and this one was a favorite. Ikram is so warm and kind, a great teacher, and fantastically stylish. I love the design we made together and am now obsessed with macramé. This is an experience I would definitely do again.
