I’m a historian who specializes in early modern history, with a focus on the city of Amsterdam. I started organizing tours in the city with Walking Histories in 2016. The connection between Amsterdam's past and the early history of the United States is fascinating and still traceable through the city's streets and buildings. So lets go for a walk, and find this hidden history!
We’ll meet at the Herenmarkt and then set off to trace the early history of the United States through the streets of Amsterdam.
