I am a tour guide in the small coastal community of Provincetown, Ma., which is located on the very tip of Cape Cod. I like to say we are "60 miles out to sea"! I spent a year driving a tour trolley and giving tours to visitors from all over the world. My tours include the history of the town from the 1600's when the Pilgrims 1st landed on our shores, to its whaling history of the 1800's, its theater/art history of the early 1900's-present day and of course the beautiful natural scenery from the shores to the sand dunes present today.
I will be pointing out, describing and telling informative stories of the following: Pilgrims Landing Park, Long Point, Floating Houses, Hans Hoffman House, the Oldest Gallery in America, A House bar, Town Hall, Whaler's Wharf, 1st Theater in America, Lobster Pot, Various Galleries, Charles Hawthorne House, Old Salt Mills, Provincetown Museum, School House Gallery.
