We'll have a short walk to the beautiful dunes in the «Westduinpark» where you'll enjoy some homemade fermented Kombucha Tea while I'll explain you how to use an analog camera. Afterwards you'll receive straight away your own analog camera to practice how to put in the film roll and how to make the right settings. Next we'll have enough time to take the 36 film photos and explore the sand dunes, sea, natural elements and other persons through the camera. If we are lucky we'll be able to catch either the golden morning hours or a sweet sunset in the evening. I am assisting you during the walk around the park and can give you some nice tips about how to play with natural elements in photos in case you should run out of ideas. If you like I would love to take some beautiful and authentic photos of you as well! In the end I'll collect your film roll and send it to the labor. A few days later I'll be able to send you the developed and scannend photos to your e-mail.
In my later childhood I developed a strong interest in seeing and capturing the world trough the «eye» of a camera. At the moment I only focus on analog photography since it seems just the perfect way to me of approaching the subject in a more thoughtful and present way. I like to limitate myself on the amount of photos I can take per film. It gives me the freedom to really enjoy every single photo I take. I also love the always surprisingly results of the photos I took when receiving them back from the labor. Let's share this process and create some magic together! PS: I speak English and German fluently (since I was born and raised in Switzerland).

«Westduinpark» is one of the largest nature reserves in The Hague. It has a highly diverse landscape with dense forests and open spaces, wet dune valleys and high dune tops as well as Scottish Highland cows that roam about freely. As a local I see it as a peaceful and secret spot to escape from the hastle of the city center and to relax and let go of thoughts they don't longer serve myself. Enjoying the rough waves, sandy beach & blowing wind!
Please be aware and prepared for the changing weather conditions and wear your most comfy shoes or no shoes at all for walking in the sand. :-)
