Experience Zen Art in the Atelier of Wabi-Sabi Style. The atelier of Wabi-sabi is a Kyomachiya(old style house), a specification that Japanese painters lived. Please experience the Zen culture according to your travel schedule. Please feel free to inquire about your desired time. The basic exercise of the Japanese painting is brush strokes. The brush strokes learn how to move writing brushes and imagine a thing to draw on the heart and performs mental unification, and draws the essence of things. It is just the same as the practice of Zen, many famous works of great monks are left. At first you do a heart calmly, and let's rub a sumi(ink stick) slowly. Please freely imagine the world of bamboo. Face Japanese paper and concentrate your mind. You attach a sumi ink to the writing brush and please draw the world of the bamboo at a stretch. Do not think please feel ! I set the work which you drew on a Japanese traditional hanging scroll and please take it home with you Because it is a scroll, it is compact and not bulky, and is also ideal for the interior of a house. If you have time, please enjoy Matcha (green tea) while watching your finished work. On the way back from the Bamboo Forest of Arashiyama or before going to see it again, please draw the bamboo universe on Japanese paper .
Kyoto has played a role as a center of Japanese art. Above all, the collection of the Kyoto art world in Japanese painting is superior in terms of quality and quantity. Since I was a teenager, I studied Japanese traditional painting from the famous painters of Kyoto Art world. First of all, learn how to draw bamboo, orchid, chrysanthemum, plum and flame ball with a brush and I learned how to use a brush and how to express it in Notan (contrasting density) of ink. The lotus pond drawn at that time was displayed at the Kyoto City Hall. It is used for item of ceramics maker Noritake and a kimono.
