From the meeting point we'll drive for about 40 minutes to the town of Litibiu. From there we'll begin our hike of about 10 minutes through the Pacific jungle. We'll first reach the Burros Beach which is highly enjoyed bu surfers. Then we'll continue to walk on the beach for about 5 minutes and we'll reach the Grand Palladium Beach which has the amazing salt water pool. We'll spend about 2 hours on the beach, enjoying the sunshine and the crystal clear water with drinks and snacks. On the drive back you'll be able to see the city of Puerto Vallarta and the Bay of Banderas from a different perspective.
We are a Mexican - Polish couple living in the beautiful city of Puerto Vallarta. Felix is a local with 5+ years of experience working as a tour guide and he can show you places and tell you things that you won't find in any guidebooks. Anna left corporate career in 2017 and came to Puerto Vallarta to volunteer teaching children from disadvantaged families. She liked the place so much that she decided to stay permanently and now works as a teacher in a local school. We're passionate about sustainable, responsible tourism and we want to show you the best of where we live!
Depending on the group size we will either go by car or bus.
The salt water pool (Alberca de agua salada) is a pool created inside the ocean with a height of 1.3 metres (4.3 feet) and an area of 3,000 m2. It's a perfect opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Pacific ocean in tranquility. It is known by very few people and the you can't find the route we will take in any maps or guides.
