We will meet at a very nice, local, city park, in the heart of downtown Cocoa Beach. Your kayak gear will be ready upon your arrival so you need not worry about a thing. We will go over a briefing of how to paddle and get you outfitted with the proper gear before embarking on a journey through our tropical lagoon. Once on the water we will search for dolphin and manatee and then take you into the labyrinths of the mangrove forest, with keyhole openings, an overhead canopy and watery trails that will twist your sense of direction. From there we will paddle the expansive sea grass flats of the thousand islands conservation area searching for more than 4,300 species of plants and animals! People from all over have ranked this experience as good as any kayak adventure in the world.
I am a fun-loving and avid Florida born waterman that has been exploring our amazing waterways my entire life. I truly love sharing this experience with others which is why I opened Fin Expeditions Kayak Tours in Cocoa Beach, Florida. We will take you to places you would not normally find on your own and show you an experience you’ll remember for many years to come! If you’re not paddling with myself, you’ll be guided by our marine biologist Dylan, our extremely knowledgeable local historian Adam or local waterman Malcolm. Please note that Air BnB, unfortunately, does not communicate with our calendar. This purchase is a request. A live calendar of availability is available on the Fin Expeditions webpage.
We always recommend bringing your own reusable water bottle for your tour. Always make sure to stay hydrated in the Florida…
We will provide all safety equipment, life jackets, kayaks, paddles, drybags and even photos from your trip!
First, we will search for dolphin and manatee, (please keep in mind I do not cage any animals and we rely on mother nature for this.) Sometimes we will see them and sometimes we won't. We will then paddle through the lagoon relaxing at the peacefulness. Then we will travel through our labyrinth of Mangrove Tunnels.
