There's nothing more British than the humble roast dinner (which funnily enough we actually eat at lunchtime). Join me in the kitchen, where we'll prepare all the elements of our Sunday lunch from scratch with some exciting modern twists. We’ll start with some English breakfast tea and scones. Then, we’ll put on some aprons and I'll share some of my chef secrets on how to make mouth-watering roast chicken on a beer can, the crispiest roasted potatoes, and the star of the show—the gravy that brings it all together. This is British comfort food at its very best. We'll sit down to enjoy the meal together as a group typical British pub style and we’ll try some English wine too. British Sunday lunch is not only about cooking. It's the one meal that brings us all together to the table on Sundays here.

I’ve been a chef for the best part of a decade, & had the opportunity to work in some of London's best kitchens under the guidance of Michelin-starred chefs. I live & breathe London's food scene & regularly contribute to food publications. You can often find me "doing research" with a face full of street food! With my background in British restaurants, I love to show what our cuisine has to offer
We'll meet and at a cafe in Highbury which we'll have all to ourselves. It's just a few minutes from where I live and my favourite vegetable shop where I'll source our ingredients from. In one direction you can find my favourite restaurants in Angel, and in the other the most amazing wine and cheese shops.
Please let me know of any dietary requirements or allergies when you book. We will be making roast chicken, but vegetarian options can be arranged also. Please wear comfortable footwear.
