Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu
Wing Chun takes a couple of years to get the basics down but once you get the foundation, you can start building your skill set. I will show you the foundations and principles to build on. These foundations will do with footwork, touch sensitivity, defense and offense simultaneously, and main basic principles to build upon.
I have been studying martial arts since I was a child. I started with Kempo, Taekwondo, Shotokan, and then finally to Traditional Wing Chun. I have been studying Wing Chun since 2008 and I love the science, technique, principles, and efficiency. I am currently a blue sash which is more than half-way to my goal of earning my black sash under Sifu Martin Kelly of Self Care Arts in Colorado Springs. Sifu Kelly has black belts in 15 different styles and mixes them into his curriculum which I have studied up to blue sash.
We will meet in a public park surrounded by the beauty of the mountains and a couple of lakes nearby. The river will be a stones throw away. Wing Chun Kung Fu is more than a martial art, it is a way of life. Connecting with the outdoors and practicing the basic principles while observing my instruction and the examples in nature will help you grow as a person and a martial artist.
We will be studying the basics and principles of Traditional Wing Chun. Standing is required and some physical activity as well. Please be prepared to be outdoors to enjoy a lesson.
