What is a Gong Bath? A GONG bath is a complete immersion in sound (but NO water involved). The gong takes you into a state of deep relaxation where a natural healing of the physical, mental and emotional bodies can occur. That's why it is called a Gong bath! Because we bathe each cell of our body in beautiful sounds. I play a big symphonic Paiste gong and a smaller Chinese feng gong. I use as well other instruments like Tibetan singing bowls, tinshas, wind chimes, sansula.... Expect an hour of wonderful powerful sounds, meditation and profound relaxation. Come and discover what a Gong Bath is and how it can contribute to your well-being. Enjoy the relaxing and healing sounds of big gongs and Tibetan singing bowls and other archaic instruments. We start with a guided meditation and then you comfortably lie down on your yoga mat and enjoy listening to the concert. As this experience is only for a maximum of four people I will also be able to place singing bowls onto your body so you can feel the wonderful vibrations entering your body, an incredible sensation. Something you can only experience in this small intimate setting. Afterwards I will offer tea and we have time for chatting.
My interest in sound massage and sound healing began in 2013, and after incorporating the use of Tibetan singing bowls in my yoga classes for quite a while, I undertook a sound massage training with internationally renowned sound worker, Jacomina Kistemaker at the Punta de Couso Centre in Galicia, Spain in 2017. Then a big gongs training and also a healing voice training in the same place. Afterwards I had the wonderful opportunity to join the prestigious Advanced Gong Master Training with Don Conreaux and Aidan McIntyre in the UK. I am also a certified yoga and meditation teacher since 2006 and completed three teacher trainings. I am regularly invited to facilitate gong baths during international yoga retreats in retreat centres in Andalusia, but also offer public and private gong baths/sound journeys in Seville.
I will offer some herbal tea after the gong bath.
I offer yoga mats and blankets and cushions.
You will be in a private home in a traditional Andalusian house in Triana, a popular "barrio" - quarter - of Seville. The room has air conditioning and heating, so this experience is suitable for any time of the year. Triana has many places to visit, so you could combine the gong bath with some sightseeing if you like.
最多可有4位年满18周岁的参与者参加。 No prior experience required. In this house are living two cats. They don't go into that space. But if you have an extreme cat allergy you might want to take this into account.
