Teams of two to six, or large groups meet up with me, your quiz trail host, in a pre-agreed local venue where they can enjoy a coffee/tea during a short 10 minute introduction. Teams then head off with clipboard, pen and directions at two minute staggered intervals for 90' of screen-free time looking for the answers to the 30 questions whilst enjoying a chat with their team mates and exploring the lanes with their historic buildings and gardens along the way. On return teams are welcome to purchase a drink from the bar before swapping quiz sheets to go through the answers with a little more history. Token prizes awarded to the winning team members. Whether local or a visitor the quiz trail is a great way to get your bearings and a good understanding of how these lovely old market towns evolved over the centuries with a little light-hearted, fun competitiveness thrown in. Dependent on numbers of teams taking part, allow three hours from start to finish if planning to dine afterwards.
I live locally to the old market towns of Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon and this is my third year of hosting these two sociable, separate fun 90' quiz trails that I have researched, written and personally host. After a short introduction, teams of up to six armed with clipboard, pen & directions head off for 90' of screen-free time looking for the answers to a mix of historical, observational and fun questions. In the Stratford trail participants learn how this lovely old market town evolved over the centuries - heavily influenced by world-famous playwright William Shakespeare. It is not a race so teams can take their time to enjoy the scenery, take photographs, buy an ice cream etc. On return I go through the answers with token prizes awarded to the winning team members. Learning in a fun way!
Clipboard, pen, directions and answer sheets. And token prizes for the winning team members.
On this 90' quiz trail in Stratford upon Avon - explore the town, gardens, along the River Avon, past the RSC theatres, his birthplace & school, into Holy Trinity Church where William Shakespeare is buried and Old Town, taking you to places you probably wouldn't walk on your own.
最多可有10位年满8周岁的参与者参加。家长也可携带2岁以下的儿童参加。 Children aged 8 and older enjoy the quiz trail and the competitive element, but find below this age they are not ready for it. Young ones in buggies welcome.
The trail is fairly flat and easy to walk with a couple of short sets of steps. Wheelchair, dog and buggy-friendly with detours available if needed to avoid steps.
