I've lived (and biked) in the awesome borough of Queens for 10+ years and would love to share the vibrancy of the neighborhood with tourists and other New Yorkers. We'll meet up on the Queens side of Queensboro Bridge, and from there we'll bike around the neighborhood of Long Island City, with stops at two local breweries, the iconic Silvercup sign, and Gantry Plaza state park (with sweeping views on Manhattan.) We'll start off in the neighborhood of Long Island City, a trendy redeveloped industrial area along the East River! LIC is known for its sweeping views of Manhattan. We'll visit some amazing breweries as well the Top-To-Bottom mural project that covers half a city block on a three-story building. From there, we'll head into Astoria, a multicultural neighborhood known for its Greek tavernas and multitude of ethnic eateries!
