Enter the vibrant Latin night scene in Puerto Vallarta, through a workshop in one of the hotest Cuban spots (Bodeguita del Medio) in Puerto Vallarta.
Experience being a Latin barman while you learn how to make your own mojito, one of the most traditional and famous cocktails in Latin America. (Minors will do a non-alcoholic drink)
Have one hour of Cuban style Salsa workshop with an experienced teacher where you will learn the basic, steps, some easy turns and moves to rock at the dance floor. If there is enough people, you you will have a chance to learn the fun Rueda de Casino (A Cuban style where you dance as a team, and change partners)
Finally, the second hour will be for practicing everything while we listen to a live Cuban orchestra with amazing musicians and singers. If you're celebrating your birthday or anniversary, let us know for a special shout!
If you are not traveling with a partner, let us know with enough time, and we will invite one of our dance team friends to help you.

I love to dance Cuban salsa, Argentinean Tango, Jazz Dance, modern dance, hip hop, etc. I have been a dance teacher for over 23 years and I have won some Cuban rueda de casino, choreographies and salsa shines contests. I studied with several teachers in Mexico, Cuba & USA and I have taught dance in countries such as India and Brazil.
I have been living in Puerto Vallarta for over 15 years and I love meeting people from all over the globe. I speak fluently Spanish and English and I have a fair good Portuguese and French. I believe I am friendly and patient teacher and I love the idea of developing self-confidence and unity through dance.
Sometimes my team joins to aid me in the classes: Carmen, Arely, Francia, Cassandra, Liz, Sabugo, Carlos or Luis. They are all excellent dancers, each with their own style.

We will visit la Bodeguita del Medio which is located in the heart of downtown Puerto Vallarta, the malecón. This place is a must for lovers of live latin music and is a favorite spot for locals who enjoy salsa dancing.

- To say this experience was amazing would be an understatement. I enjoyed every moment of this experience. From learning the proper ways of the Cuban dance to trying those moves with the band was amazing. If I didn’t get a move he was patient with me till I got the hang of it. Don’t hesitate on doing this, you won’t regret it.
- This was a casual but very fun experience. It was a small group (just me, a friend, and our two hosts). The drinks were good and the live music was even better. I have never tried to learn salsa casino and Israel helped me find a new hobby. He is patient and provided an experience to remember.
