On this walking tour, you will explore the old city of Pune and its by-lanes on foot accompanied by Jayesh or one of his colleagues. You will learn about the history of the city, hear the intriguing stories of the Peshwas and Shaniwar Wada Fort, visit two of the most iconic temples in the city and seek blessings, experience the different bazaars and markets and finally get the authentic taste of Pune by tasting the delicious Puneri Misal.

Traditional snacks en-route
We will start the walk by exploring the Shaniwar Wada, a fort house built in the 1700's by the Peshwas. We will continue on foot and explore the by-lanes of the city. We will visit the historical Kasba Ganpati Mandir and seek blessings from Ganesha. We will explore the numerous bazaars in the old city and also visit a restaurant which is 70 years old and serves Pune's favorite Misal.
Comfortable walking gear
The cost mentioned does not include the entrance charges at Shaniwar Wada. These need to be paid by the guest. The charges are Rs. 25 for Indian nationals and Rs. 300 for foreign nationals
