I'm a writer and Hampstead local. I love the old fashioned beauty of Hampstead and talking about all the inspiring poets, painters and performers who lived here. Hampstead Heath is one of my favourite places in London, with its miles of wild nature, beautiful ponds and wildlife.
One for the literary geeks and nature lovers. Hampstead is a picture-postcard London village consisting of lovely old pubs, houses and cobble-stoned streets. Many famous writers spent time here inspired by Hampstead's natural beauty. We’ll explore the old town and see some of the oldest streets in London. Artists we’ll talk about include Charles Dickens, John Constable, Oscar Wilde, H.G. Wells,…
Comfortable walking shoes, and an umbrella is always handy.

Hampstead is famous for its network of backstreets that lead to the Heath. It's a beautiful location that's inspired many famous poets and artists. We finish at the old home of poet John Keats, which is now the John Keats museum, where you can pay a fee and visit after our walk.
