We start our experience at the Run2Day in Nijmegen (van Schevichavenstraat 1a). Here you can leave your personal belongings and jacket in a locker. After this we will do a short warming up and start exploring of the city while running! We run 7KM. This in approximately 2 hours. We stop at a lot of sights: Square 1944. Kronenburgerpark, Grote Markt, Mariken van Nieumeghen, Joodse synagogue, Island Veur-lent, Valkhof park, the Besienders house, Het Pakhuis and de square close to 'brewery De Hemel'. This all so you can take some pictures (and catch your breath) while I explain everything you need to know about those sights. When we arrive at our starting point we will have some time for a drink and a small snack.
I'm a physical therapist and besides this a fervent runner, blogger and traveler. In terms of behavior I am a real people person and open-minded. I studied in the beautiful city Nijmegen and while doing this I discovered the best places away from the crowds for my daily runs. My knowledge about Nijmegen increased a lot, thanks to my grandparents: they were born and raised here and thought me a lot about the history of the oldest city of the Netherlands. I became really enthusiastic about it all (running and Nijmegen) and this is why I started doing 'Nijmegen Running Tours'.
I will provide a small snack at the end of the tour (banana/cookie)
We will drink some water/coffee in the running shop 'Run2Day Nijmegen' afterwards.

It is important to know that you need to be a runner to participate in this tour. You don't need to be fast but you need to be able to run at least 5KM in one go (altough we do stop several times!)
