I work part time as an Occupational Therapist, which provides me with lots of time to spend in the outdoors. I enjoy exploring FL on bike, foot, and in kayaks.
We will ride on an unforgettable trail past alligators basking in the sun, wading birds stalking prey, and turtles. Halfway along the loop, we will climb up an observation tower where we will have a panoramic view of the "river of grass." I will take you on a short walking trail for more close encounters with wildlife.
Bring your camera, sunscreen. Wear sneakers. There is a park admission fee. It is cheaper if you park on the road and walk in instead of driving.
Bring own bicycle or rent one here for $9/hr
We will be in the heart of the world famous Everglades National Park, known also as the "river of grass." This unique ecosystem provides a habitat for countless wading birds, alligators, panthers, turtles, and fish.
