体验内容

We will meet at a local landmark to check-in with one another. After setting an agreeable course (dependent on ability and interest), we will begin a walk paced by you. Simple reminders & suggestions will be offered (unless you opt for a supported silent walk), otherwise chatter will be kept to a minimum. We'll stop several times along the way for short yoga tutorials and practice, giving ourselves time to settle our awareness in the present moment.

I began the study & practice of yoga in 1996. I have several certificates on the subject, though my biggest learnings of yoga & meditation have come from daily practice & regular teaching.
For the past 10 years I have taught a therapeutic-somatic yoga class at Augsburg University, and have led classes at the University of Minnesota for 5+ years. I enjoy working with individuals and small groups with a focus on moving, breathing, and inviting more mobility, stability & function into everyday activities, especially walking. For the last several years I have found that a mindful walking practice, using the arbitrary and adjustable number of 10,000+ steps/daily is a great way to bring yoga and meditation to life.
