Introduction of Dumpling story and the importance in Chinese family home cooking. I will prepare all dumplings ingredients and equipment, all hands-on instructions, you will learn more than 3 types of folding techniques, from making your own dumpling dough, dumpling fillings and folding. I will guide you to cook the dumplings in multiple ways, traditional boiling, steamed dumplings and mostly popular potstickers. In the end, I will prepare a few side dishes to pair with the dumpling fest. I also offer local beers and Beijing-infused cocktails for you to enjoy.
I’m Jeff, I grew up in Shandong with my grandma and her awesome home cooking, which influenced me to be a restaurant owner in Beijing.
