Join us for an unforgettable opportunity to experience one of Italy’s most famous cultural rituals…the aperitivo, a heavenly tradition that dates back to Ancient Roman times. We offer you a private table on a white sandy beach at sunset…perfumed by scents of rose, jasmine and sandalwood, against a stunning backdrop of turquoise blue ocean. Curated with fresh flowers and candlelight, we will taste Sardinian wine and sample a sumptuous selection of local cheeses, bread, grapes, olive oil and sausage…all served on clay ceramics hand crafted and painted by Giuseppe’s family. And because Italians love conversation, we will not only share some local history and stories with you, we will help you create your own. As you raise your glasses and dance barefoot to the rhythm of the sea, Giuseppe will move with you, camera in hand, capturing beautiful and treasured moments for you with a professional photography shoot. Memories to last a lifetime. Digital photographs will be emailed to you within the following few days, all included in this experience.
We are a fun married couple with a passion for food, wine, culture, travel and the arts. Giuseppe is a documentary/portrait photographer born and bred in Sardinia. He is also a wine lover, and has worked alongside wine producers in Italy. Rachel earned her BA degree from Parsons School of Design in Textiles & Art History and is a certified yoga instructor. Raised in France and Switzerland, Rachel worked in New York City and London before settling in Italy. She loves painting and hosting family and friends who visit from abroad. Together, we speak English and Italian.
Local cheese (pecorino or caprino), local sausage, local olive oil and local bread (pane carasau).
The offer includes excellent local produced wine, red or white.
Our experience will take place at the golden hour of sunset on the beach, not far from the village of La Caletta.
Bring comfortable shoes or sandals (i.e. flip flops) for walking on the beach.
As we host the experience in an open outdoor space, please keep in mind that we cannot predict natural weather occurrences such as wind and the natural state of the water.
