I love taking pictures in reporting style. We will walk through my two favourite neighbourhoods - Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg. These are the perfect places to practice street photography. The neighbourhoods are full of graffitis, coffee shops, bars, little designer stores, galleries and art in general. I will show you my way of photo taking and I can also help you to setup your camera. We will search for real life of the city. Starting from urban RAW area - the center of art galleries, installations, bars and clubs. Then we'll slowly move to Kreuzberg crossing Oberbaumbrucke bridge. I'll show you the best of this alternative Berlin's neighbourhood - its great places and hidden gems. We will be taking street photographs while exploring the city. Bring any camera you have (digital or film) so we can start our photography class. Our photowalk gonna last approximately 1.5-2 hours. If you wish different date or time you can contact me.
Hi! My name is Matthew. I am into photography since my childhood. I received my first film camera as a birthday present. Since then photography has become an integral part of my life. I am originally from Kyiv, but also lived in Tel Aviv and New York City. Nowadays I live in Berlin where I capture everyday life of the city and its beautiful humans. I love film photography. I believe it is much more special than digital. During 9 months in NYC I shooted only on 35mm film that I was developing while working at one of the Brooklyn's photolab. My website gorodiski.com
