I will plan an art walk to visit the best 6 to 8 art gallery exhibits happening that weekend. In every gallery I will offer a summarized overview of the gallery’s story, and the current exhibition , and you will then enjoy the art and take a walk around the space taking in the exhibit in each gallery. I will offer a 2 hour to 2.5 hour gallery walk.
Other things to note
We can visit about 6 to 8 galleries during the guided tour. I will tell the story of the gallery and will review the exhibits in in a manner that invites fun personal discovery and perhaps also discussion. Along the way, participants will get an overview of the Chelsea gallery scene.

I have been an art gallerist and art consultant for over 13 years. I am fluent in contemporary art and the NYC art gallery scene. I’ve attended the Venice Biennial for the past 14 years, have traveled and attended art fairs and galleries world wide, and I have deep knowledge of the best art exhibits happening in the city, with a focus in Chelsea. I have experience talking to groups, and educating people in art, what to observe and how to experience it. It’s my passion and I love it. I am easy going and entertaining :) . I speak English Spanish french and Italian.

It takes a knowledgeable art person with experience in the local art gallery scene to know which are the best shows happening at any given time. This is something that changes constantly, and it takes some planning to map it out efficiently. I will focus on the Chelsea art galleries. There are over 1500 galleries in this city so it’s important to know where to go!

- This was a perfect way to get introduced to the most worthwhile galleries and new artists. Very pleasant experience, Michelle keeps adjusting the tour to your own pace and interests, and has a lot of knowledge and experience in the art world. Very pleasant and interesting personality who connects well. Will 100% sure to contact her again for a tour next time we are in NYC, and possibly to source art for us.
