Summer Wild Flower, Mushrooms and edibles workshop. You will enjoy an experience you hiking on 400 acres of Conservancy. Identifying edible wild flowers specifically but will also learn about other edible greens as well as mushrooms. Together we will learn ethical collection of wild flowers and how to make them into syrups for use in cocktails, Italian Sodas, Ice cream and other delicious uses (Think Breakfast or dessert). This is an intense field practicum. Participants of this workshop will be required to dress appropriate for all weather including tick spray. Bring paper bags, basket, Scissors, snacks and water. All edibles (once identified) will be divided equally between each participant with a list of proprietary 'Wild Feast' recipes for home processing. All Participants will receive a bottle of Wild crafted flower syrup to take home. During this time you will also enjoy everything nature has to offer.
I am a Mushroom & Wild edibles expert. I am currently a guest lecturer for the local Horticultural Society, CRCA, and will be a guest lecturer at Queens University. The location will be supplied after receipt of payment and day before scheduled event. It is within 30 minutes driving of Kingston Ontario. It will be in my personal secret mushroom hunting location.
this is an outdoor activity so we request guests of this experience to dress appropriately
