On the other hand, apart my food walking, Asian side is worth to be discovered. In ancient times, it's name was "Kalkedon", which means "Land of blinds". I can tell you the legend about it. If you are interested, please note that this experience is for you:) We will start from Kadikoy and take a walk by the open Market which is 100yrs old. Then head to Yeldegirmeni part of the town where you will see most of the history itself and continue accross Bahariye towards Moda, where I do live with its beautiful, easy streets & calm life. Nothing touristic, it's just our daily life living together with our dogs & cats. We will have a pause on my favorite corner to have a Turkish coffee for 30mn. Basically this will be a very casual walk. If u have any further question or to know more about the route, please don't hesitate to message me.
I am the 3rd generation of the area. I have been raised up and currently living in Moda. I have studied Tourism&Hotel Administration and always been interested in the history. I have another walking experience about food of the Asian side. If you would like to know more about me please check the reviews from my ‘food walk’ link :) https://abnb.me/WmSU7HJcNZ
