This 9 day kayak expedition is one to check the Canadian North off your bucket list. We'll fly with a float plane air charter to the fabled East Arm of Great Slave Lake. This place is on the cusp of being home to Canada's newest national park: Thai Dene Nene, otherwise known as "the land of our ancestors" by the local Chipewyan Dene who will co-manage the park. Stunning granite cliffs, glittering Northern lights and world-class trout fishing are highlights of this expedition. The trip is open to beginner and intermediate paddlers.
I am the founder of Jackpine Paddle - the largest northern-owned canoe & kayak outfitting business in the Northwest Territories. I've paddled extensively in the North for decades and would love to share with you my favourite fishing holes, camping spots and paddling routes. I'm a Paddle Canada certified canoe & kayak instructor and Wilderness First Responder.

最多可有8位年满12周岁的参与者参加。 这项探险体验属于中等强度活动。 Guests must have backcountry camping experience. This is a trip to a remote wilderness location.
The East Arm is a remote location, so previous paddling experience in a kayak is an asset. Participants are not required to be proficient or highly-skilled paddlers, but should be familiar with the basics of kayaking and paddled in a kayak at least once before.
