Carbost village 1km with local shop, post office, cafes, pub & the famous Talisker Distillery. 5 min drive to Fairy pools, Talisker & Glenbrittle beaches and the magnificent Cuillins

Stunning Skye seafront: calm, cosy, central.

Braidholm is our home on Skye. It's a 19th century building, warm and cosy. Step in from the weather and hunker down in the comfy sofa in front of a log fire. The kitchen is cottage style, with everything you'd expect in a modern home. Two bedrooms upstairs (kingsize in one, twins in the other, all with Egyptian Cotton, 400 thread-count linen) with sea views . Two bathrooms upstairs (one ensuite), a toilet downstairs. Private garden plus parking for 2 cars. 300m from the centre of Portree.

The Studio is close to The Cuillin mountains, Talisker Distillery, Loch Bracadale. You can walk out from the studio directly into the landscape to the beach, sea cliffs and beautiful birch woods. The inside is thoughtfully and beautifully designed. A great space for couples and solo adventurers. We offer wifi internet connection.

Self contained cabin 3 miles from Carbost.

Heatherbank self-catering cabin is a minimum 3 night stay. It is located within the owners grounds 2 miles from Carbost. Due to location, transport is essential. A combined living/bedroom/kitchen area provides: a comfortable bed, drop-leaf table with 2 chairs , large cupboard, kitchenette containing: fridge/freezer, dishwasher, combi microwave/grill, airfryer and toastie maker. Additionally there is a walk in wet room and a shed for boots and bikes. Outdoor seating is provided. .

Gate Lodge on Conservation Farm Isle of Skye

Opened in January 2020, the Gate Lodge is a charming octagon with plenty of original character. Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break. After living in many different places, I understand how important and difficult it is to find a nice, clean, spacious space that makes me feel comfortable and relax! No matter what weather or we don't want to go out, we still can enjoy view even if we sit in the house. So we decided to build Ardtreck. After exploring and observing all aspects of Skye, we were fortunate to discover a unique location for it. The main characteristics of Ardtreck are：

Fortanach Seachd is self contained apartment with small galley kitchen and living/dinning room a double room and a single room (with small double bed if you want extra guest to share in single room it will be cosy, and let me know just for fire regulations) and w/c with shower (no bath!) A great location for photography,hill walking,climbing and sightseeing like the Fairy Pools and Talisker Distillery.
