Our central location also boasts easy access to many parts of Scotland.

Compact, mid-century decor self-contained studio. Our home is in a residential area of the city. NOT in the city centre. Complimentary tea, coffee and simple breakfast food provided. Bus stop beside the house with regular service; one bus, into Princes St in 25-35 mins. We have a small driveway for you to use. We are 2 mins from the by-pass and are 15 min from Airport by taxi. Waters of Leith and Pentlands are close by. The Historic Colinton Village is 10 minutes walk down the hill.

Open all year. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers and pets are very welcome and stay at no extra charge. There are many activities in the area for the outdoor enthusiast and Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Tin Lid Cottage - cosy ground floor flat

* Newly refurbished* There's 200 years of history in our cosy little cottage. Part of the original village cross and formerly ‘Bab’s Shop’, it is now a one bedroom haven. There's wonderful walks from the doorstep and it's a great base to explore the cities and sights of central Scotland. Our quiet & lovely village pub, The Swan is open Friday- Monday. It was the first community owned pub in Scotland and has recently had a major refurbishment. Be sure to book ahead, it’s popular!
