Historic cabin close to Duke U - with EV Charger

This story could have started in the 40's, but we'll start in the 60's when this tiny cabin was local housing to graduate students at Duke. Wonderfully located and unlike anything else this close to Duke University or downtown Durham, the Green Door cabin welcomes you for the weekend or week. Fully renovated recently while keeping the charm intact. You can feel as isolated as you want with every amenity within just a couple of miles. Duke Forest Trails and Duke CC Trail within walking distance.

This small 128 sq ft tiny house is packed with charm. Situated on a serene 5 acre wooded property, its a short drive to Hillsborough (10 min), Chapel Hill (15) and Durham (15). I wanted to create a space where guests can take time to rest and reset. The house is cozy, stylish, and surprisingly spacious. Its well appointed with all the amenities to feel like home. Take a step outside and you'll be surrounded by old hardwood trees and the soothing sounds of nature that make life here so peaceful

The deck features a glass garage door that can be opened to let in the breeze & natural light allowing guests to enjoy the picturesque views of the pond. Inside you'll find a well-appointed one-bedroom space offering a peaceful retreat, & the living area provides a cozy spot to relax after a day of enjoying all that Raleigh has to offer. Less than 1 mile to the Falls Lake Boat ramp located on HWY 50 just across from the Mountain to Sea Trail. Well behaved dogs welcome and must be attended in/outdoors.

A 600 s.f. cottage retreat designed by Robert Phillips. One bedroom, full bath and kitchen, and spacious living room. Ten ft. ceilings and fine architectural details; terraced; fountains nestled in a tree grove on 10 acres with foot paths. 15-20 minutes to Chapel Hill/Carrboro, University of North Carolina; Pittsboro and the Saxapahaw arts community on the Haw River.
