Reground yourself with a cozy, tranquil nature retreat at Iona’s historical cabin on the Baptism River. This cabin is walking distance from the Superior Hiking Trail, a 10 minute drive to Lake Superior and Tettegouche State Park in one direction, and a 10 minute drive to George Crosby Manitou Sate Park in the other direction, with many other hiking trails and a waterfall/swimming hole in between. Stay in and read a book or weave a basket, write some poetry on the dock, or cast a line.

This cabin was built for family gatherings and a recreational retreat and has been in the family for years. We offer a place to sleep 4 with a pull-out couch, full kitchen, bar area, dining table and a small bathroom with a shower and sink. We also have an outside hydrant to rinse off your equipment or clean your fish and game. Be on the lookout for Moose, Deer, Bear, Fox, Grouse, and many of birds and listen for an occasional Timber Wolf in the night. Trailer parking is onsite.
