My partner and I lived in this beautiful apartment for 8 years and we love sharing this special place with guests. The Stables, Fitzroy Nth - spacious, light filled

A uniquely Melbourne experience - perfect for an extended (or short) stay. The Stables were originally built in 1880 for the horses that serviced the Victorian home they are situated behind. The Stables have been converted into a spacious, sun-lit, private, fully self-contained accommodation over 2 levels with a shared garden and independent access (allowing you to come and go as you please). It is a short stroll to great food, leafy Edinburgh Gardens, public transport and bike paths.

The Old Stables

The old stables in Fitzroy North. Our space is a renovated old stables situated at the back of our home in Fitzroy north. The two properties are kept separate, so the house is all yours for the duration of your stay. We designed the space to feel as though it is connected to the garden, the wooden ceiling and large glass sliding doors open up to let nature in. This is a place for relaxation, a retreat that is still close to the fun of the city.

Funky, fresh, self contained studio in our North Fitzroy backyard. HUGE top floor bedroom/living area, with bathroom, kitchen and meals area downstairs. Quiet street, close to public transport and all the hot spots of Fitzroy, Brunswick and Northcote. Entry either down the side of the main house or via the back laneway and a small open space with tables and chairs to enjoy the sunshine.

Access is via a new pedestrian back gate and spiral stairs that lead up from the tranquil garden to your private balcony. Inside there is a large light filled studio where a pleasing blend of blue and yellow notes predominate.
