Evergreen Retreat

This is a peaceful cabin located just minutes to Boone, Blowing Rock and West Jefferson. Relax and enjoy the scenic views, tall trees and sounds of the nearby creek! There are numerous hikes in the area and other outdoor activities such as kayaking, skiing, apple-picking and Christmas Tree cutting. Sleeping Bear Cabin - Lake and New River Fun

Sleeping Bear Cabin is nestled away in a private mountain community that has it's own lake and just a two minute drive to the New River at the entrance of the community. The cabin is surrounded by forest with a main deck and an upper deck. Just recently remodeled and redecorated, we designed Sleeping Bear to be the perfect place for anyone to enjoy the mountain life. Fishing, walking, biking, hiking, tubing, kayaking, bird, butterfly, wildlife watchers and 35 -45 minutes to skiing.

Cottage is situated overlooking gentle pastures and long range mountain views. A perfect front porch setting for those North Carolina Mountain sunsets offering a peaceful relaxing experience. The surrounding wildlife, forested area, hiking trails, and bold streams make this an adventurous getaway for the whole family. The Blue Ridge Parkway and New River are minutes away for fishing, biking and river fun. Boone, Jefferson, Appalachian State University are less then 12 miles near.
