Spring Escape - Cozy Cabin + Hot Tub near Parkway

Tucked among the trees on 13 private acres, this cozy dog-friendly cabin is the perfect fall escape. Explore the property with a walk to our private mountain stream, then unwind on the deck, the hot tub or at the fire pit surrounded by fall foliage. Minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, wineries, zip-lining and a quaint coffee shop. The vibrant town of Floyd, an Appalachian music mecca, is a scenic 20 minute drive away. As a pet-friendly property, we warmly welcome your pets with a $150 pet fee.

Floyd Family Home, 1 Mile from Downtown Great Yard

We have a great space to make your home base for a trip to Floyd and the mountains of Southwest Virginia. Less than a mile from the stoplight in the Town of Floyd, this 4 bedroom, 2 bath home sits on 9 beautiful and tranquil acres. Depending on the time of year you visit, you can wander out back and find apples or peaches on the trees. You’re likely to have deer stopping by to enjoy the apple trees, and quite possibly some wild turkeys and other wild life. A great place to relax and explore!

Nicely finished studio w/ private entrance, a full size bathroom, kitchen with sink, refrigerator, microwave and a 2 burner stove. Sleep in comfort in a queen bed with plush memory foam mattress. There is a Mitsubishi heat/AC & Roku smart TV. ALL are WELCOME , I celebrate diversity and inclusion. Also, For an addition fee I offer a workout area and a dry sauna that heats up to 180. I am a licensed massage therapist, when available I can offer massage by appointment in separate studio.

the Poplars Cottage

Our cottage is set in the corner of a 100 acre mostly wooded tract in rural Floyd County. The site is open, but surrounded by mature trees. You will enjoy the quiet private setting. Our cottage is good for couples and small families. The Town of Floyd, six miles away, hosts restaurants, a coffee shop, and gift shops. The Floyd Country Store hosts the renowned Friday Night Jamboree featuring local bluegrass, while other restaurants host a variety of music on weekends and during the week.

Homeplace

The Homeplace is in the rural countryside of Floyd, VA surrounded by a family farm with a winding creek nearby. You will enjoy beautiful views of pasture fields that may have cattle and sheep grazing and possibly see various wildlife. This home, built in the 1940’s and situated beside a paved road, has been lived in and gently loved. While experiencing the nostalgia of an old home you will also enjoy modern conveniences such as WIFI, central heat/air, and a fully stocked kitchen and bath.

Nestle Inn - The Blue Ridge meets the Crooked Road

This beautiful 2-bedroom guest house is a 12-minute walk to the famous Floyd Country Store and Jamboree! FloydFest, the Crooked Road Music Trail, Floyd EcoVillage, 5 Mile Mountain Moonshine Distillery, Buffalo Mountain Brewery, Chateau Morrisette, and Villa Appalachia are just a short drive from us as are Radford University and Virginia Tech. Recreational activities include Great Oaks Golf Course (see "Guest access"), the Blue Ridge Parkway hiking trails and kayaking on the Little River.

Tiny House @ TinyHouseFamily

Our tiny house is beautifully appointed with everything you need to live (and work!) in luxury two miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and two miles from downtown Floyd, VA. Sleep soundly on the queen sized mattress topped with 4" memory foam. Cook your gourmet meals in the fully equipped kitchen—(we provide welcome mini loaf, organic coffee, half and half, sugar, rolled oats, olive oil, salt, pepper, and cinnamon.) Spend the evening enjoying a campfire or relax on the porch swing.

Laurel Branch Cottage

The Laurel Branch Cottage is charming and ideally located near the Town of Floyd and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cottage is surrounded by scenic family farms and near the West Fork of the Little River. Also, we are approximately 35 miles (45 min.) from Virginia Tech. The cottage includes a kitchen, bathroom, a living room with a pull-out sofa bed, bedroom with spacious closet and queen bed, and an upstairs bedroom (outside stair access only) with another full bed.

Ridge View Cabin Near Floyd, VA, Secluded Hideaway

Nestled in the heart of SW Virginia, Ridge View Cabin is a relaxing place to get away from it all; yet, the charming and historic towns of Hillsville and Floyd Virginia are less than 18 miles away. Chateau Morrisette winery and restaurant is a 20 minute drive as is Villa Appalachia Winery. The Blue Ridge Parkway is easily accessible and the Virginia Creeper Trail is in nearby Galax. There are plenty of other hiking trails around and river sports are nearby.

Max's House- Cozy Home on BRParkway Farm

Great location just 1/2 mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway at MP 152. Surrounded by open fields, mountain vistas abound. This home has been lived in and gently loved for many years. There is one bedroom downstairs and two upstairs. An extra cot is available. Fully equipped kitchen! Great for families and a long stay. Guests are invited to join us when feeding the farm animals (alpacas, llamas, Highland cattle, Jacob sheep and angora goats) each morning. Fun!
