The Coach House

This expertly refurbished 19th-century Coach House is full of character and all ready for your luxurious relaxing break. The open-plan living area has a exceptional view, and when you want a change there's a large smart TV and good-quality broadband for entertainment. The kitchen comes with induction hob and oven, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as all the pots, pans & utensils you need for cooking up delicious meals. The shower room/toilet is conveniently tucked away in a corner. Walk up the distinctive oak staircase to find the upstairs bedroom, with its impressive round window. It sleeps up to three people in a kingsize double bed and a separate single, and there's also room for a travel cot for an infant.The Coach House is ideal for a couple on a romantic escape, or for a family with young children looking for a safe space to relax and play. KEY FEATURES - One bedroom – upstairs, with kingsize double and single bed, space for travel cot. - One shower room/toilet – downstairs. - Sleeps up to three, and infant. - Private outside terrace area with view, shared use of 1.5 acre secure meadow & gardens. - Dogs welcome, two maximum, small additional charge. - Young children welcome (but you may need to bring a stairgate for safety). - Smart TV (Netflix, iPlayer, Freesat etc). - Good-quality broadband/Wi-Fi (free). - Induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge (freezer available if required), dishwasher. - Dining table for four, two leather sofas. - Washing machine (and use of dryer if required). - Underfloor heating (powered by eco-friendly air source heat pumps). - Wood burner, first basket of logs free. Colliers Cottage at The Barracks, Forest of Dean

Situated in the heart of the Forest of Dean, you will find Colliers Cottage. An ex-colliers cottage that has been extensively renovated in 2024, it comprises 2 bedrooms (1 with en-suite), family bathroom, kitchen, lounge (with sofa bed), dining room and a large, fully fenced private garden with off road parking If you want a stay where you are surrounded by nature, look no further! This is an ideal location for keen walkers, runners and cyclists with off road trails just a short distance away

Haven on the Hill, fired pizza oven and shower

The wooden cabin, Haven on the Hill has been hand built on an elevated platform with views looking over the Forest of Dean. A private and secluded dwelling situated in our grounds near our home. With good pubs and walks nearby this cabin is perfect for a stay away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Full electrics, bathroom with shower, cooking facilities including a wood fired pizza oven. Easy access parking,a donkey & a sheep to keep you company! Pets welcome with plenty of long walks.

Romantic Idyllic Nuthatch Cottage with Hot Tub

A stunning panoramic view awaits you at Nuthatch Cottage. This gorgeous, unspoilt haven is located in Mitcheldean, the enclave of the Forest of Dean and a locals-only spot in Gloucestershire. This 2 bedrooms house was built with natural Cotswolds stone. The entire house is secluded with a hot tub and has a luxuriously charming feel. It is perfectly situated to enjoy what the picturesque local area has to offer. The local shops, restaurants, and attractions are only a five-minute drive away.

Country cottage with private woodland and orchard.

Our beautiful beamed attached cottage complete with log burner is set in over 3 acres of private ancient woodland, in the Forest of Dean near the River Wye. The garden path leads down to a secluded orchard which is a haven for birds, deer & wildlife. The cottage is located in a quiet country lane, with walks to our local pub, The Ostrich Inn and the local town. We are close to all amenities, cycle trails, river activities and the best of what the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley has to offer.

Tom's Hut

Get away from it all in a cosy shepherd’s hut amongst trees in a beautiful rural location. Tom's Hut has a comfortable double bed, storage below and a compact kitchen unit with double gas hob, sink and fridge, pots, pans crockery and cutlery. Keep warm with a wood-burner and fire wood provided, or underfloor heating. Outside, there is a table for al-fresco dining. A newly built, heated shower room is close to the hut. Just 3 miles from Newent and various pubs. Please note there is no WiFi.

For relaxing evenings around the firepit, sitting under the stars and listening to the owls, come to this unique, historic, converted folly, surrounded by woodland and your own private semi-walled garden. A perfect rural escape for up to 3 people. One bedroom cottage has open plan living area with sofa, TV, fast WiFi 23 mbps, DVD player and fold-up dining table and chairs. A fully equipped kitchen is set around a spiral staircase. Full length front windows with garden view. Dogs welcome.

3 bedroom, peaceful, secluded, & large garden

Hidden away on the edge of the ancient Forest of Dean, in the beautiful Wye Valley, with a large secluded garden, accessed by a mile long, narrow, single track lane, hanging with ferns in summer. It's is a fabulous place for walkers and town escapees. Once a woodman’s cottage, with a cosy, spacious interior, fully equipped kitchen, log burner, very comfortable beds, all you need for a relaxing break. Not suitable for young children 1-12, the large garden has a pond and steep terracing.

The Game Larders

Wythall is a half-timbered manor house in a secluded and idyllic setting with garden, fresh water lake, wooded grounds and vineyards. You will enjoy peace and quiet here and see an abundance of wildlife. Wine tastings and vineyard tours are also available via appointment. The Game Larders is completely self contained and situated in the west wing of the manor house. It is well equipped and furnished, with access to ample parking space and central heating throughout. Pets are welcome.

Badgers Bothy is set within a woodland glade in the grounds of the 16th century Amberley Farmhouse and provides the most unique and charming country escape. Our idyllic cottage is set on the edge of Minchinhampton Common (located in an AONB) and with miles of footpaths which are perfect for those wishing to explore the Cotswolds. This beautiful cottage exudes an aura of peace and tranquillity and a haven for those wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of a busy life.

The Woodman's Bothy

A rural retreat tucked away on a hillside at the edge of the forest where you can relax in front of the wood burning stove or enjoy the views of the beautiful Hope Mansell valley by the fire pit. This rustic hideaway is perfect for a romantic break or as a base for walkers and cyclists wanting to explore The Wye Valley and Royal Forest of Dean. Ross on Wye (10 mins), Monmouth (20 mins) and the cathedral city of Hereford (45 mins).

Eco friendly lodge with outside bath and

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars in this eco friendly wood cabin nestled among the trees. Watch the birds feeding on the decking, take a plunge in the outside bath and gaze at the stars, tinkle on the baby grand piano. The perfect place for time to stand still! Oh and don’t worry - if outside bathing isn’t for you there is an inside bath and an en-suite shower!
