Garn-y-Skirrid Cabin

Garn-y-Skirrid is an wooden cabin with wildlife friendly garden for 1 or 2 people with shower room and well equipped kitchenette. Close to the Brecon Beacons, just 3 miles from Abergavenny with outstanding views and ideal for enjoying all the outdoor opportunities: walking, cycling, wild swimming etc. £10 per night discount for single occupancy. One pet welcome but not in Feb/ March/April when we are lambing. A warm welcome is extended to all guests by the owners, Tom and Marjorie, next door.

The Lodge is close enough to get a glimpse of the steam trains that occasionally pass but secluded and quiet with its own private garden set in beautiful countryside. Cheltenham, Worcester & Stratford Upon Avon are just a short drive away, making this is the perfect retreat without paying expensive Cotswold prices. The studio is built to the highest of standards at the bottom of my landscaped garden & includes underfloor heating, new furniture and basic cooking facilities. You can roam freely around our 5 acres of land/garden . We supply outside furniture and sole use of our external hot tub, please note it’s available for use all year around, a disclaimer to be signed prior to use.
