Wonderful period home in Perthshire in the Scottish Highlands, in a stunningly special romantic location on Loch Earn. Great for a 1-2 week holiday, or for a short break. Garden Cottage with hot tub, castle & sea views

This charming cottage is completely unique having the old Redcastle ruin as a back drop and views of the Beauly Firth directly in front. There is an idyllic stream going through the garden and we have recently planted a wild flower meadow at the end of the garden. It has been beautifully refurbished in 2023 and we feel incredibly proud of the results. The cottage is located in the sleepy hamlet of Milton of Redcastle and really is an idyllic and very comfortable place to come and unwind.

The cottage lies on the boundary of the Insh Marshes RSPB nature reserve and has views across the open countryside to the Spey Valley and Monadhliath Mountains. A delightful place to stay and newly finished in May 2019 'The Wee House' can be found right next door to our own (slightly bigger) house, 'Heisgeir'. Tigh A'Mhuillin (The Mill House) is a lovely detached home close to picturesque coastal villages (5 miles from Shieldaig and 17 miles from Applecross), with shops and pubs. Fabulous hill walking and climbing in the Torridon mountains, mountain biking on tracks and quiet roads, fishing, and sea trips to explore this beautiful part of the Highlands. For the less energetic, just sit, relax and watch the ever-changing scenery.
