Oakleaf Hideaway is a recently renovated cottage nestled in the trees on 20 private acres atop Lookout Mountain, just 1.5 miles from DeSoto State Park. Featuring private walking trails, seasonal waterfalls, and 2,000 feet of frontage on Straight Creek, the cottage is a peaceful place to unwind, recharge, and enjoy the quiet of Northeast Alabama. You’ll be close to the best of the area, including DeSoto Falls, downtown Mentone, Little River Canyon, and shopping and restaurants in Fort Payne.

Johnnie 's Hideaway

Johnnie’s Hideaway sits on a private wooded lot on Johnnie’s Creek. Close to destinations such as Little River Canyon, Mentone, Desoto State Park, Weiss Lake, are all a short drive. Our cabin sleeps six with a queen bed on main floor, and two full beds in loft area. Main floor has 2 baths with utility room, fully appointed kitchen, dining/living room combo which features a two story rock fireplace with gas logs. A covered wrap around porch & sun deck on the back make great outdoor spaces.

Perfect for that weekend getaway, Clark’s Cottage has fiber internet, living room space, queen size bed, and kitchenette equipped with a fridge, air fryer, microwave, ice maker, water dispenser, and coffee maker. Clark’s Cottage also offers one thing that most others do not. We offer a large assortment of complimentary snacks and drinks!

The properties of Mountain Laurel Inn lie on the outskirts of DeSoto State Falls and offer easy access to trails. Enjoy the large fire pit area, coffee on the porch, or a hike to DeSoto Falls.
