The Bear's Den

Enjoy a private home while exploring the western North Carolina beauty. For more, read on. Here's a review left by my most recent guests: Five stars. Mary went above and beyond to accommodate The cabin is adorable with lots of nice touches, and the outdoors areas are simply amazing. The closet kitchen is well supplied . We actually cooked all but two meals during our week-long stay. The bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend "The Bear's Den" for your stay in the Franklin, NC area.

Mountain Getaway

Please Note: This property is not accessible with trailers or boats because of the tight turns on the road in. It is no problem for standard size cars or pickups. Come enjoy our Mountain Getaway nestled in The Nantahala National Forest and only 3 miles from Main St. in Franklin. You will enjoy quiet solitude after a full day of hiking, biking, white water rafting, or viewing some of our many waterfalls. Your GPS will get you to our door but feel free to call if further directions are needed.

Adorable & freshly renovated cabin located in a private wooded community between Highlands and Franklin in the Nantahala National Forest. Our light & airy cabin is nestled on almost 4 acres of woodsy, mountainous terrain and is private and picturesque, yet still convenient to town. We love relaxing on the front porch, surrounded by nature and enjoying the sounds of the streams & views of the mountains. It is a peaceful cabin to relax & enjoy the cool breezes and scenery of the Smoky Mountains.

Our Creekside Cutie is the perfect space for couples, small families, golfers, hikers, or friends looking for a getaway. Sleeps 4, is located in a golf course community, king size bed & new sleeper sofa, large flat screen tv, fast internet, & gas fireplace. We are located close to the famous Appalachian Trail. Paved roads all the way to the door, quiet, but not far from shopping & sight seeing! The home has a beautiful creek that flows behind it. Grill & fire pit!Come relax Creekside!

Set on 3/4 of an acre, in a neighborhood setting, surrounded by beautiful trees and a small creek you can listen to while enjoying your morning coffee on the covered deck. This well-equipped cabin is only 3 miles to downtown Franklin (8 minute drive). There is also a Walmart just two miles away. Close to many activities including white water rafting, hiking, biking, waterfalls and scenic drives. 30 minutes to Highlands for great shopping & Dry Falls!

A cozy private downstairs apartment with a separate entrance, located in a quiet upscale neighborhood, in walking distance to downtown Franklin. A strong wifi allows for remote working while vacationing. With two famous hiking trails nearby, we welcome all walks of life to come hang out on our patio by a fire, get a good nights sleep, wash your clothes, and indulge in a warm shower(or bath).

A spacious cottage with gorgeous Mountain Views!

If your idea of a vacation is serenity and relaxation, then the Deerfield Cottage is for you. The property sits on 12 acres, nestled in the Wayah valley just six miles from historical Franklin, NC. In the early mornings or at dusk, look for the deer that frequent the property. Often you will see fawns frolicking in the field under the fruit trees. A 100 year old corn crib harkens back to the early days when this land was part of a working farm.
