The Quilted Cozy Guesthouse

Welcome to the Quilted Cozy, a private 2 BR/1Bath guesthouse located in a peaceful, country setting 30 minutes from Gettysburg, PA, Frederick and Westminster, MD. Ideal for cyclists with numerous deserted country roads to explore as well as for remote workers with business internet service. This unit includes a fully functioning kitchen, shared laundry access, and a recently renovated serene sunporch, as well as an outdoor patio space with fire pit. Pet friendly, fenced in yard access available.

2 bedroom, full kitchen and laundry, 1 level guesthouse beside detached garage (separate from main house). The front has a rose garden, birdbath and your own patio. An apple tree is beside the guesthouse. A farm is to the back. Asian cafe, Subway, Dempsey's Grill, Amvets, Main Cup bar and restaurant, Tapia's and 3 ice cream parlors are all a short walk away. More restaurants and grocery store are less than a mile. Farmer's market in season on Thursdays. Fresh flowers and coffee are provided.

Nestled in the woods with a covered porch for morning coffee, yet minutes to downtown Frederick, Civil War sites, Frederick Watershed with cycling trails, Mount St. Mary’s University, Cunningham Falls, Catoctin and Fort Detrick. Free WiFi, and Smart Roku TV’s. Parking for 2 cars is included. Pets are welcome.

Enjoy your stay in this fabulous pool house located in a quiet neighborhood. Relax poolside during the day and enjoy the outdoor bar and kitchen for cocktails at sunset. Breathtaking views all around. Just 50 minutes from Baltimore and Washington DC and 10 minutes to historic downtown Frederick. Private entrance to backyard with a large green space on the backside of the pool house. We consider ourselves a couples retreat and don’t host gatherings. We look forward to hosting you soon:)

Spruce Run Cottage, Farm stay on Catoctin Mountain

The cottage is located on 25 acres of mostly wooded terrain off Highway 17 near Wolfsville, Maryland, less than an hour and a half from D.C. The cottage faces the woods and the private drive down to the creek. There is almost zero light pollution at night so stargazing is incredible from the balcony. The hosts live on the property up the hill in an 1890’s chink log cabin. Although you can see our house, the cottage feels very private and is a quiet comfortable retreat in the hills.

The private entrance opens up to a living space that is comfortably modern with clean lines. The large picture windows allow tons of natural light and a spectacular view. The cabin is situated on 383 acres, on the South Mountain formation in Frederick county. the property is adjacent to the Frederick City Watershed and within 15 minutes of 2 State Parks and a National Park. The cabin is fully equipped for your mountain get away and heated by a wood stove with propane heat in case of an emergency. We also provide internet that is reliable and fast for all your modern needs.
