Swerwersrus Farm Stay - Plaasstoep

Plaasstoep is an intimate self-catering cottage, nestled on a smallholding just outside the city limits of Bloemfontein. It features two bedrooms that can sleep four guests in total, a full bathroom, and a kitchen. Enjoy the beautiful Free State veld from the farm-style stoep, with a braaier. Guests have access to Wi-Fi. However, there is no TV in the unit. Past guests prefer to take a moment to enjoy the expansive view and star-filled nights. A short gravel road of 1.4km leads you to the unit.

We run off solar and gas and invite guest to come and enjoy the quiet side of nature. Our lodge has access to many miles of trails for hiking, biking and running through our private game farm where one can get up close and personal with our resident giraffe. The entire Cottage is approximately 50m2 in size. There is one bedroom with a queen size extra length bed with an en suite bathroom comprising a shower, basin and toilet. There is an open plan kitchen, dining and living room. 1x covered parking. 1x covered patio.

Our Cottage is one of three units situated on a prime location, walking distance from the square, and right next to the hiking trails. Our cottage offers 1 bedroom with a double bed, fully equipped kitchenette, lounge area with sleeper couch and outdoor seating area. You are welcome to bring your pets along by prior arrangement as the back area of the cottage has its own fenced off little garden where your pets can play freely. Pet fee = R200 for cleaning

It is a haven for children and families who wish to get out of the city for a few 10 guests, and no more than 8 adults. The house is fully serviced, maid and manager, included in the price. There is a jetty to moor a boat and slipway to launch a boat. Self catering.
