Tugela River Lodge: Rapids Cottage with Hot Tub

Tugela River Lodge is a pet friendly, self-catering Eco-Lodge, located on a private cattle and game farm on the banks of the Tugela River, near Winterton, KZN, South Africa. We run off solar and gas and invite guest to come and enjoy the quiet side of nature. Our lodge has access to many miles of trails for hiking, biking and running through our private game farm where one can get up close and personal with our resident giraffe. The sounds of the river are sure to put you to sleep at night!

Mooiplaas Farm Accommodation

In between picturesque koppies you will find this thatch-roof house overlooking the Free State plains. Wide open spaces with hiking, mountain-biking, trail running and stargazing to your heart's content on this beautiful 3rd generation sheep farm. Ideal for people wanting to escape busy city life or post Corona small apartments. There is no grid-supplied electricity on the farm but gas stove, gas geyser, gas fridge and oil lamps are available to help you reconnect to the peace and quiet.

Clarens River Cottage

Clarens River Cottage is a private self-catering retreat, 500m from the village center with easy access to restaurants and shops. Nestled at the foot of the Rooiberg Mountains, the cottage offers stunning views and access to nearby hiking trails. It has 2 bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed and private bathroom. The open-plan kitchen and living area lead to a patio with mountain views. Amenities include a wood-burning fireplace, Smart TV, braai (bbq), and secure off-street parking.

Penwarn Farm - Mthini Lodge

Mthini sleeps 8 adults and 3 children and is located 19km on the Bushmen's Nek Road, which is a gravel road, just outside of Underberg, South Africa. Mthini has four bedrooms which are divided into three King Bedrooms and one suite with two ¾ beds and day bed. All rooms have luxury en-suite bathrooms. There is also a full kitchen and a large open-plan living and dining area, with a fireplace, which opens to a patio with a firepit. Daily cleaning, linen and bath towels provided.

The entire Cottage is approximately 50m2 in size. There is one bedroom with a queen size extra length bed with an en suite bathroom comprising a shower, basin and toilet. Situated on Millionaires bend on the Vaal river. This is a much loved family home. It is a haven for children and families who wish to get out of the city for a few 10 guests, and no more than 8 adults. The house is fully serviced, maid and manager, included in the price. There is a jetty to moor a boat and slipway to launch a boat. Self catering.
